Peanut Butter

Ingredients

500 grams (1 lb) unsalted roasted peanuts
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup oil, approximately

Method 

Place the peanuts into a “food processor” and process until they form a paste.

Then gradually add the oil a little at a time. Add the salt and process for a few seconds more.

If you grind the peanuts first then you will know how much oil to add.

If you want crunchy peanut butter then leave a few peanuts to put in after you have processed the main portion and process just enough to keep the crunch.  You can also put the peanuts on a board and chop and add them this way.

Makes approximately 2 cups.

This is a much better alternative than buying peanut butter.  Aussie products has lots of aussie food recipes.
